Associated Students and Inter-Club Council

The Associated Students (A.S.) consists of elected and appointed members including the A.S. President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recorder, Senators, Inter-Club Council (I.C.C.) President, Commissioners and Senate Members. The Student Trustee may also attend and report at the Associated Student Senate meetings. Elections are held in the fall for the current year and in the spring for the following year. The Associated Students and Inter-Club Council provide a comprehensive student activities and club program. Events are planned with sufficient variety and provide an opportunity for all to participate.

The Associated Students holds business meetings every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the College Center, Rm 227. The Inter-Club Council meetings are every other Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the College Center, Rm 227.  All students and guests are welcome to attend.

Student Leadership

Since virtually all major decisions that are made on the Fullerton College Campus affect students in some way, student input to the various decision-making bodies has become increasingly relevant, necessary, and welcomed. The Associated Students (A.S.) is the recognized “student voice” in the shared governance process of the campus community.

Campus-Photo Identification Card

The Campus Photo I.D. card is strongly encouraged for all students and is purchased for $2.50 only once during the student's tenure at Fullerton College. Services that require a Campus Photo I.D. Card are the Library, Tutoring Center, Financial Aid, Bookstore to make purchases by check or charge, Bursar's to obtain refunds, and other areas where needed.  Campus I.D. Cards are the preferred source of photo identification when setting up campus lab accounts.  A current semester validation sticker may be obtained each new term.  A print-out and valid photo I.D. is needed at the time of production and/or validation.

The Associated Students Benefits Validation

A Fullerton College Campus Photo I.D. card, properly validated by the Associated Students, will allow students to receive a wide variety of valuable discounts, services and activities. (Validation may be obtained during regular hours in the Student Center (Rm 214), the A.S. Office (Rm 222) and Student Affairs (Rm 223).  A current semester print-out and valid photo I.D. must be shown to obtain Campus I.D. Card and/or validations.  For more information contact: the Associated Students or Student Affairs Offices.  The fee is $7.50 for Fall and Spring Semesters, $3.75 for Summer Session.

Offering discounts to movies, events and  approximately 60 local businesses, the A.S. Benefits Validation does it all!  The A.S. Validation offers free admission or discounts to Day Concerts, Food Events, Club Rush Days, Speakers, NiteLifes, "FC Days," Socials, Home & Away Sporting Events, Cultural Events, Fine Arts Events and much, much more!!

Services include:

Student Affairs

The office of Student Affairs provides leadership opportunities and practical learning experiences beyond the classroom. Student Affairs provides “hands on” experiences which complement students’ educational, personal and professional goals, thus enhancing student success. Through a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Student Affairs offers meaningful opportunities for campus and community involvement, recognition of student achievement and a variety of specialized services of benefit to the campus community. Additionally, Student Affairs is a major catalyst of college information and direction regarding procedures and events.

The Student Affairs Office provides practical learning experiences that complement classroom instruction. Information regarding campus events scheduling, student rights, student government, clubs and organizations, student discounts, “FC Days” ticket sales and a wide variety of programs, including Commencement and Men and Women of Distinction are coordinated by the Student Affairs staff.
