What is AGS?
Alpha Gamma Sigma is the California Community College H
onor Society. AGS was founded in 1926 by William T. Boyce
and since then chapters have been established at community
colleges throughout the state. Fullerton College, the oldest
California Community College in continued operation, also
established one of the founding chapters of AGS, designated as
Epsilon.

What is the purpose of AGS?
To promote, maintain and recognize scholastic achievement.
To offer programs that provide educational and cultural
enrichment for members and students campus-wide.
To volunteer services to the campus and the community.
